Ordnance Survey Folded Map - ONE INCH SERIES Sheet E213
Here is information about Sheet 213: One Inch Sheet 213 Brecon & District 1909 - published 2002; intro by Edward Parry. ISBN.978-1-84151-392-8 This Inch to the Mile map covers the area around and to the west of Brecon, including the upper reaches of the River Usk. Coverage stretches from Brecon and Llanfrynach westward to the border with Carmarthenshire and Mynydd Myddfai; and from Merthyn Cynog southward to Moel Feity. The Brecon Beacons National Park today covers the lower half of the map, and apart from Brecon itself the area is overwhelmingly rural. On the back we include a large scale map of Trecastle. It is not possible to list the many hamlets, farmsteads and other topographical features shown on these maps. However, you may find it useful if we list the towns and principal villages or church parishes that are included on this Battloe, Brecon, Cantref, Cray, Devynock, Garthbrengy, Llanmddew, Llandefaelog-fach, Llandeilor-Fan, Llanfihangel-Nant-Bran, Llanfrynach, Llanspyddid, Merthyr Cynog, Penpont, Talachddu, Trailong, Trecastle. Llanfair-ar-y-bryn.
