ISBN.978-0-85054-726-9 This extremely detailed map covers a major part of Hulme, an area now changed out of all recognition, but described then by Engels as "one great working people's district....the more thickly built-up regions chiefly bad and approaching ruin, the less populous of more modern structures, but generally sunk in filth". Coverage stretches from Clopton Street eastward to Ormond Street, and from River Street southward to Warde Street. Apart from the many streets of terraced housing, features include Zion Chapel, Chorlton upon Medlock Workhouse, Trinity Church, Medlock Street Glass Works, Scotch Church, St Wilfrid's RC Chapel. The map links up with Manchester Sheets 33 Oxford Street to the north, 37 Hulme St Georges to the west, 39 Chorlton on Medlock to the east.
