Ordnance Survey Folded Map - LONDON Sheet L021.2
Here are the details of maps for Stamford Hill: London Sheet 21.1 Stamford Hill 1868 - published 1985; intro by David Pracy. ISBN.978-0-85054-077-2 London Sheet 21.2 Stamford Hill 1894 - published 1984; intro by Jon Newman. ISBN.978-0-90755-484-4 London Sheet 21.3 Stamford Hill 1913 - published 1990; intro by David Pracy. ISBN.978-0-85054-380-3 We have published three versions of this map, showing how the area developed across the years. The maps each cover the same area, stretching Lordship Road eastward to Springfield Park, and from St Ann's Road and Crowland Road southward to Manor Road and Windus Road. The maps therefore cover the southern part of South Tottenham, much of Stamford Hill, and also the Clapton Common area. Stamford Hill, leading to High Road, runs south-north through the centre of the map. Features include West and East Reservoirs, Amhurst Park, the Tyssen Amhurst Estate, the Craven Estate, the Springfield Estate, South Tottenham and Stamford Hill stations, Tee-To-Tum Club, tramways and depot, Springfield House. The River Lea is at the east side of the map. The three maps provide a vivid contrast as the area is developed.

Reduced from the original Ordnance Survey 1:2,500 map to a scale of approximately 1:4,340 (or about 15" to the mile). Published by Alan Godfrey Maps, Leadgate, Consett
