One Inch Sheet 122 Whitchurch, Nantwich & the English Maelor 1905 - published 2001; intro by Alan Crosby. This Inch to the Mile map covers the southern area of Cheshire, and also includes portions of Shropshire, Denbighshire and much of detached Flintshire. Coverage stretches from Holt and Farndon, in the NW corner, eastward to Nantwich and Audlem, and southward to Tilstock. On the reverse is a large scale map of Holt, defined as a town by the OS, and Farndon on the other sidse of the Dee. It is not possible to list the many hamlets, farmsteads and other topographical features shown on these maps. However, you may find it useful if we list the towns and principal villages or church parishes that are included on this map.
